The extra large Cabin Towel is a lightweight, quick-drying alternative to a traditional towel, perfect for taking to the beach.

The nostalgic plaid combines bright tones with warm hues to create a playful, unexpected colour palette. Made with cotton in a relaxed waffle weave with a fringe detail.

Designed in New Zealand by our in-house textile designers Imogen Tunnicliffe and Sophie Clapson.

Design Inspiration

First released as a wool blanket in 2021, Cabin draws inspiration from the New Zealand tradition of tramping. "We were inspired by backcountry cabins and huts, where you might find blankets folded on a shelf. The Cabin blanket is a cheerful reimagining of these classic New Zealand heirlooms."

A Note from the Designer

"The Cabin range of designs has been a really satisfying project to work on. We started the process with very few design parameters, but from the beginning we had a strong sense of the story we wanted to tell. We have reconfigured the design across several different items, each form requiring a slightly different approach technically, but it was important to us to retain a balance between the bold bright colour combinations and the structured check pattern."
